watercolor and copic liner
I made a youtube account for showing the timelapsed process because tumblr is really restrictive with video lenght and size. Please don’t hesitate to give me some hints how to make better videos…like getting my head out of the picture.. I will try better next time XD
first entry for the second week of @tpthvegebulmayhem
the prompts were Jack and the Beanstalk, The Boy who cried Wolf and Hansel and Gretel. For this I chose the last one. The requirements were pencil or ink (I chose a variety of black and colored inks), a sinister and dark scene, placement of at least one Dragon Ball, play with shadows, major character death and an emotional entanglement.
I am not sure if this counts as a play with shadows, but I took care of this requirement in the other picture for this week. The plot is the following:
Bulma and Kuririn went into the woods and were close to finding one of the Dragon Balls, but they didn’t think that the one keeping it would be so…hungry.
So the next panel is implying cannibalism, but not showing anything drastic. You can see it after the break:

promts were Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Requirements were at least three different media types, showing one emotion per picture from a list and use color to represent the emotion, use the color name in the picture.
My overall theme for this week was to give Vegeta a hard time. He deserves it :D
For all three prompts I made the lineart digitally, watercolor for the figures, colored pencil for the backgrounds and some water soluble graphite for some shading. For this picture I used references from DB ep 01 and DBSuper ep 102.
For this prompt I used the emotion contempt and the color green.

I continue with giving Vegeta a hard time for the prompt Cinderella.
He is dissapointed, which I accompanied with some blue.
This was my entry for week 1 of the @tpthvegebulmayhem last month!
Requirements for the first week were one full scene in the media of our choice for either rapunzel, rumpelstiltskin or snow white. I chose the second one and put it in a modern setting:
Bulma cursed the gods, her fusion reactor which should turn complex
polysaccharides into gold was malfunctioning, again! Suddenly a little,
evil creature appeared and offered to help her with his magic, on the
condition that her firstborn shall be his. But Vegeta should have been
more careful with the way he phrased his demand …

You become responsible forever, for what you have tamed - from The Little Prince
This weeks prompts were Goldilocks, the Princess and the Pea and Three Billy Goats Gruff. Requirements were three images that were connected thematically, showing lust, desire or sensualness and one picture must be shades of red, one pink and one blue, while being drawn in at least two different media. The plot:
The little prince saves a girl from being attacked by the monster under the bridge. What do you do with a wild kitten you find? You take it home and watch how it eats all your food and sleeps in your bed….
For the mixed media requirement I drew the figures in photoshop, printed out the lineart and copied it onto watercolor paper. Then I colored the background using watercolors, scanned the pictures and combined them with the figures I already made. I chose to get warmer in color with the progress of their relationship.
@ladyvegeets asked for Vegeta in a naval officer’s uniform on Twitter and I couldn’t resist giving him Price Philip’s horrendous uniform from The Crown… it looks better on Vegeta, but still! Those socks!

Chapter Summary: Bulma had risked her life for him; Vegeta had to give up a huge part of himself to be with her. And yet, in each other’s arms, they knew that all of the pain, suffering and loss, was more than worth it. For with each other, they were complete.
